That is a good question and we don't really know! But that's one of the reasons we made this site. We were sick of paying for over priced medical books and found this to be a good solution for getting the best price. Make sure to always look for used versions whenever possible which will save you a ton of money. |

Is it worth it to rent medical textbooks or not? |

Well the are 2 trains of thought on this matter. Being that medical textbooks are a good reference book to have you a lot of people actually opt to keep them in their possession. If you're one of those people who wants to keep their book then obviously rentals aren't for you. On the other hand if you don't feel like lugging that book around the rest of your life then rentals are a good choice. |

Used textbooks or new textbooks... That is the question! |

Here's another one that's an easy decision for us. We love used textbooks, we love the fact they are so much cheaper, and we love the fact you can sell them back at the end of the semester and get a chunk of your money back even more. The only people who don't like used books are people who have OCD who don't like the fact someone touched their book prior. But for the majority of the public out there used textbooks are just fine! |

Do I pay tax on these textbooks? |

Well no, as long as you don't buy from a bookstore that's located in your state. When searching for textbooks check the column that displays the sales tax info, sometimes it helps, sometimes it doesn't. Especially helps on those big ticket books though. |

Are their coupons for textbooks? |
|
YES! Go to google and search for "Textbook Coupons" you'll see a couple sites that pop up devoted to giving out the latest textbook coupons. |
